The snow finally let up after 3pm on New Year, allowing us to set the drone free. The fairytale black&white world that unfolded on the screen was truly magical & mesmerising.
This contrasted with sunny weather “back home” in South Africa.
It also contrasted with my last pre-COVID trip, spending 01/01/2020 in New York.
Do I regret moving to the NORTH - not even for a second.
To quote Soren Kierkegaard - “Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards”
